About the Circle of Friends

The S-Section Circle of Friends is a non-profit, neighborhood organization designed to bring together the neighbors of the S-Section to work together to enhance and beautify our neighborhood. We work with local officials to secure resources, maintain our parks and help make our neighborhood a safer place.

We are also a neighborhood who likes to have fun! Stop by our park for some great annual events such as the Fall Festival where you can pick a pumpkin, jump in a bouncy castle or participate in our raffles to win some great prizes. If you have a child entering kindergarten you can attend the Kindergarten Kickoff where our newest students get to know each other by making a class banner, sing some songs and make new friends. Check the site often to see what else we have planned!

The Circle of Friends began as an idea of one neighbor, Ann Greene, who worked tirelessly to make this neighborhood a more enjoyable place to live. It is Ann who secured the resources and funding that gave us the parks that we have on Sycamore Circle and Nicolls Road. In the tradition of service, we strive to keep in place what Ann has worked so hard for. Please join us in our effort to make our small corner of the world a better place.
